At approximately 11:08 hours on Sunday, October 23, 2016, 1st Battalion units were dispatched for a dwelling fire in the 44100 block of Bristow Circle in Ashburn, VA.  Initial units arrived to find a 2 story, single family dwelling with fire showing from the garage.  Engine 606 grabbed their own plug at the end of the cul-de-sac and stretched to the attached garage.  Truck 606 split their crew with the officer and bar man making entry, searching, and checking for extension from the garage area into the kitchen area while the outside crew threw ladders and opened up in the garage.  Engine 622 grabbed a second plug and stretched the 2nd line interior to backup the first line.  Engine 623 gained entry into the basement, secured utilities, and checked conditions.  Fire was extinguished shortly after units arrived on scene and all searches proved negative from the 3 special service company’s.  E606, T606, R620 overhauled after the FM office concluded their investigation.  Units were held out for roughly 2.5 hours.  AC606 had command.
