Date: Sunday, April 15, 2012
Time: 1:00 - 4:00
Place: 19485 Sandridge Way, Lansdowne VA 20176
Each year at Station 22 at the Lansdowne Safety Center, we hold our Spring Safety Day. In
addition to fire trucks and ambulances to explore and safety related games, we have invited
specialists to be on hand from the medical/wellness community to answer basic questions and
provide educational materials.
As your children follow the colorful safety map showing Terry the Traumasaurus, you can all
meet people to talk about:
- Accident prevention
- Preparing your child for the dentist/braces
- From piggy banks to bank accounts
- Stand straight & tall
- Loudoun County Sheriff's Kids ID
- Call 911
You might even get a chance to meet Terry! Bring your camera and expect to have a fun
and educational time.
Admission is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.
For grown ups, there will be FREE parking at 19500 Sandridge Way. We'll see you
from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, rain or shine at 19485 Sandridge Way, Lansdowne.
Contact AVFRD at 703-729-0006 if you have any questions.
